Special Mechanics
Triggers:
- You may only used the abilities of a trigger if you have a unit of the same clan as the trigger
- Trigger abilities can only be used right after they are revealed
- Can be used to guard one attack, no matter how much, by discarding a unit of the same clan as the perfect guard from the hand
- Can only guard units of the same clan as the perfect guard
- Some units have a special ability or "skill" that requires you to flip damage face down in the damage zone to activate
- The amount needed to counterblast in order to activate the skill is next to the symbol of a card being flipped over
- Most are usually activated during the main phase, unless other conditions are required to activate the skill
- Some units have a skill that allows you to soul charge, where you put the top card(s) under the vanguard
- The amount you soulcharge is next to the symbol of a card with a capital V and and arrow pointing towards it.
- Some units have have a skill that requires you to remove cards from under your vanguard or soul
- The amount you soulblast is next to the symbol of a card with a capital V and and arrow pointing away from it.
- Megablast is a skill that some units have that requires you to soulblast 8 and counterblast 5 in order to use.
- The unit has a megablast if the symbols for soulblast 8 and counterblast 5 are next to each other.
